B – Six Months

San Francisco
On our way out to New Zealand, we took advantage of a long layover and explored San Francisco for a day. Leaving a wonderfully snowy Kent, we found ourselves before the Golden Gate Bridge and setting sun over the Pacific Ocean. Hip yet unique, warm yet cold, land yet sea, the contrasts of San Francisco left me keenly aware why so many have left their hearts.
